Why We Love Green is the Festival Soul Water Was Made For

There are music festivals, and then there is We Love Green. Each year, in the lush surroundings of Paris's Bois de Vincennes, this pioneering event sets the bar for what modern festivals should look like: thoughtful, expressive, and radically eco-conscious.

Hydration with intention. Culture with conscience.

There are music festivals, and then there is We Love Green. Each year, in the lush surroundings of Paris’s Bois de Vincennes, this pioneering event sets the bar for what modern festivals should look like: thoughtful, expressive, and radically eco-conscious. No wonder Soul Water felt so at home.

While many events are still scrambling to clean up their act, We Love Green has been quietly leading the charge for over a decade. This isn’t just another weekend of music, it’s a full-scale laboratory for sustainable innovation. Powered by 100% renewable energy, including green hydrogen and solar, with a zero single-use plastic policy and composting toilets that turn waste into fertiliser, We Love Green is a founding member of the EU’s Green Deal Circular Festivals initiative. In one edition alone, over 280,000 plastic bottles were avoided. It’s not performative. It’s transformative.

At Soul Water, we believe that hydration should never come at the cost of the planet. That’s why our 100% recyclable aluminium cans are designed to be both beautiful and better; for people, for places, and for festivals. At We Love Green, our sleek cans didn’t just blend in; they made a statement. Cool to the touch, ice-cold on the inside, and made to disappear responsibly into the recycling stream. This is what it looks like when form meets function, and purpose meets party. From the main stage to the chill zone, we were there to keep the good energy flowing, without the plastic, in style.

We also had the pleasure of sending a few lucky competition winners to the festival and seeing them live the full We Love Green experience, Soul Water in hand. Their smiles said it all: music, sunshine, and that sweet sip of a win. (And let’s be honest: Soul Water hits different when you’re front row at your favourite set.)

We Love Green is a glimpse into what the future of festivals can be: vibrant, visionary, and low-impact by design. We’re honoured to be part of this new rhythm, where conscious artists, creative communities, and climate innovation all come together. So here’s to the power of music, the circularity of aluminium, and the joy of doing things differently.

Until next time, We Love Green. Stay hydrated. Stay soulful.
